THE ORGANIZATION
AL-Mehran Rural Development Organization (AMRDO) is a non-governmental, non-political, non-religious, non-partisan, non-profitable social services providing organization. AMRDO was established in the year 1998 and registered under the Society’s Registration Act of 1860 and is PCP certified. AMRDO is working for the socio economic empowerment of poor rural and underserved communities through participatory development initiatives in Sindh and Baluchistan.

NEED FOR ESTABLISHMENT
The philosophy behind the establishment of AMRDO was to ameliorate the deteriorating conditions of those vulnerable communities who are quite far from the normal standard of life. The Vision and Mission of AMRDO adheres to the commitment of championingboth the human and ethical values through striving for the very cause of oppressed communities in the context of the basic social rights. In its continuous struggle, AMRDOhas envisioned to explore maximum possible anddynamic areas of socio-economic development by establishing the health and education facilities with every best of its efforts. |

Geographical area of operation |
The Organization’s over all focus has been on Sindh and Baluchistan provinces.
AMRDO has been unceasingly serving the rural backward communities in the districts of Matiari, Shaheed Benazirabad, Mirpurkhas, Sanghar, Sukkur, Jacobabad, Umerkot, Jamshoro, & Tando Allahyar in Sindh and Jaffarabad in Balochistan. |
